About our company
For more than a decade, CAP Snow Plow has been committed to keeping Vail properties safe, accessible, and well cared for — storm after storm.
Owner Chuck Plourde has lived in the Vail Valley for over 30 years and knows mountain winters inside and out. Originally from Maine, Chuck has been skiing since he was six years old and built his life around the snow and the community that thrives here.
Chuck took over an existing snow plow operation 18 years ago and officially established CAP Snow Plow in 2013. Since then, he’s built a reputation for reliability, communication, and genuinely looking out for his customers’ properties.
In the winter, you’ll find Chuck behind the wheel making sure every driveway and lot is clear. In the summer, he switches to excavation and equipment operating — proof that running machinery with precision and care is second nature.
When he’s not working, Chuck and his wife, Bow, love spending time together on the slopes and enjoying everything the mountains have to offer.
